When posting on social media, it’s important to take risks because that is how you grow. You need to be bold and most importantly, you need to be consistent with posting whether it’s a photo with a caption, or a story.
As a company, we love to not only support other local/non local businesses, but we love to follow their accounts for inspiration for our own page.
We wanted to share a few of the local/non local business social media accounts we’ve really been enjoying/getting inspiration from and why.
Do you need to build a marketing strategy? Let us help you.
Richland County
Doc’s Deli: @docsdeli
What we love about the Doc’s Deli Instagram account is how they not only post about the wonderful foods they serve, but they switch things up and post about their company as a whole, as well as the specific ingredients they use within some of the dishes. They’re a sandwich shop, but on their Instagram they create an experience for their followers by reiterating to people that they can create their own sandwiches, give it a name, and they will save your recipe so you or anyone else can order it every visit!
Ashland County
Fig and Oak: @figandoakshop
Fig and Oak is a boutique located in downtown Ashland. What we love about their Instagram account is their consistency. The owner, almost every day, will post on her stories telling followers about new inventory, current products and current deals they have going on. When recording videos like this you are really able to hear how passionate they are about their company and that really shines through to their followers and stirs up curiosity.
Knox County
Visit Knox Ohio: @visitknoxohio
Visit Knox Ohio is a fantastic account to follow when you need travel inspiration for anyone wanting to visit the Knox area. This is the account to follow to find all of the things to do within Knox County. It showcases all of the wonderful experiences you can have even within a small town and that’s what we love about it. By simply looking at the page, you can see everything the county offers whether that’s greenhouses, breweries, restaurants, parks… the list goes on.
Out of Market
Axios Charlotte: @axioscharlotte
Axios Charlotte is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and is an Instagram account we love to use specifically for marketing/aesthetic inspiration. They have 245K followers and sure know how to create an experience both online and offline for followers. Similar to the Visit Knox Ohio account, they showcase all of the experiences the city of Charlotte has to offer. From sporting events to food to art, they make sure to reiterate that there is something for everybody in that town.
Aesthetics are a big part of getting social media followers, too. It’s different for each platform, but for Instagram in particular, good quality photos are important along with the use of hashtags and other features the platform implements.
